Plan a Romantic Getaway in Gozo

Why not plan something different and romantic this year? If you’re visiting Malta or live here you should visit Gozo with your partner and take your loved one on a picnic at San Blas bay. This is a remote and peaceful bay since it is not that easy to reach and not known by many people either. It is a lovely beach with red sand, very similar to the sand found in the famous Ramla Bay in Gozo. You can get there from Nadur but the beach is inaccessible by car due to the steep hill you would have to travel on in order to get there.

And what about the menu? Maybe you could cook the food yourself to make everything extra special. Why not try cooking some simple meals such as deviled eggs, bacon-wrapped potatoes and some German potato salad. They all taste lovely and are ideal picnic meals as they can be served cold.

But maybe if organizing a picnic doesn’t sound so appealing to you, you could spend the whole day travelling around Gozo, discovering new places and end the day with a fantastic meal at maji wine and dine restaurant in Victoria.
